Money Up is an accessible app designed to teach and reinforce real-life money skills. It is suitable for children learning to handle money, individuals with developmental disabilities, therapists working with stroke survivors and those in the early stages of Alzheimer's.

The app, which supports multiple currencies including Australian dollar, Canadian dollar, U.S. dollar, British Pound, Euro, New Zealand dollar, and Singaporean dollar, was created by teachers and therapists. Its main goal is to help children, teens, and adults acquire or maintain the necessary life skills for fostering independence.

Money Up features seven games that allow users to practice the 'Dollar Up' technique in various situations. These games cover tasks such as identifying notes and coins, determining how much money to pay when shown or told a price total, checking available funds, calculating correct change, paying for items, and evaluating if there is enough money to make a purchase.

In addition to the interactive games, Money Up includes several desirable features for educational or therapeutic use. It supports iPad Accessibility and allows customization according to individual needs. The app also offers data tracking with shareable reports via email.

For added fun and engagement, there are two mini-games included in the app for children (or adults) who desire a break. Money Up also provides support for students with impaired vision through high contrast backgrounds selectable for each user.

Other features of Money Up include a complete grocery list editor, options to add groceries from the camera roll or web via paste operation, support for the iPad camera to add groceries directly, interaction with five friendly characters, and bilingual support with English and Spanish languages.

Initial feedback from parents, teachers, and therapists has been overwhelmingly positive.
